CLASS UPDATES
- TODDLERS – This week we’ve continued our counting fun—1-10 and back down to 1. We’re finishing up our unit on ladybugs but your child’s journey with numbers has just begun.
- 3 Day 3’s–We had fun making our Styrofoam flowers. Next week we will begin our dinosaur unit. The children are very excited, we have many books to read and art projects to complete. Have a wonderful weekend.
- 4 Day 3’s – What a busy week we had learning and exploring more about dinosaurs. We put together our very own dinosaur fossils with pasta! We also made dinosaur handprints & each class made up there very own dinosaur story. We will finish up our dino unit next week. Happy weekend!!
- 5 Day 4’s – We began our new butterfly unit with the arrival of our caterpillars. While waiting for their transformation, we have begun to turn our room into a butterfly habitat. The children made tiny caterpillars out of pom-poms munching on a leaf. Be aware that our classroom was also transformed into a radiology unit. We took ”x-rays” of your children’s arms and are happy to report there are no broken bones!! We will send them home this week. Next week is letter “z” for our last sharing letter. Have a great weekend!
- Extended Day 4’s – Our caterpillars are growing and growing. They are eating grass and leaves and soon they will turn into chrysalises. What an exciting life cycle! We have been reviewing our letters and writing words in our Journals. Look through all our Spring Show projects (folder) coming home.
